Barkeria spectabilis
This is probably the easiest to grow and most popular of all Barkeria species. It comes from an intermediate growing condition in Chiapas around Kilometer 113 on the main road between San Cristobal and Comitan. It is very easy to grow from seed and bl;ooms rapidly within less than 2 years. It seems to adapt to warmer conditions easily and numerous hybrids with this species have created some beautiful and floriferous offspring.
